Cold Hardy Annuals Workshop - Seed to Blooms
Cold hardy annuals, aka cool flowers, are plants that live one year that you can start in the fall for spring blooms. Planting them in the fall allows them to get their roots established before cold weather sets in for larger, healthier plants and earlier spring blooms.
In this extensive, three hour workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to grow these amazing flowers with a special emphasis on six favorites- Snapdragons, Foxglove, Sweet William, Ammi, Campanula and Scabiosa. You’ll leave this workshop with the knowledge needed to overwinter these varieties and a tray of 72 started seedlings you sowed yourself!
We keep our class sizes small to allow for hands on learning and plenty of time for Q & A. Because of this, classes tend to fill quickly! Don’t wait, sign up today.
